Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FX36

Panasonic comes with a new model in digital cameras, LUMIX DMC-FX36. The speciality of this camera is its lens system, by the use of which it is possible to create a 25 mm wide angle lens. The camera is also provided with 5x digital zoom (4x digital zoom, 7.2 extra optical at 2Mpix). It comes with two focus modes, normal mode and macro mode. A microphone is also provided, which is attached to the camera.

The effective pixel of the camera is 10.1 mega pixels. It is also provided with a primary color filter. Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FX36 has got an auto in built flash, which can be turned on or off depending on the light conditions. They have also provided a number of scene modes. LUMIX DMC-FX36 comes with an intelligent auto mode with intelligent exposure. High quality images are obtained with the help of advanced signal processor, Venus Engine 4. In the case of videos also the quality is good. Motion pictures having a resolution of 1280 x 720 P at 30 frames per second are obtained.

LUMIX DMC-FX36 Storage

For storing the photos taken the camera is provided with an inbuilt memory. Also the storage area can be extended by the use of external storage media like SD memory card, SDHC memory card or Multimedia card. In the case of the Multimedia card it can be used to store still images only. Videos cannot be stored in it.

Power and additional accessories

LUMIX DMC-FX36 uses a Lithium ion battery of 3.6V, 1000mAh. The battery is included along with the camera. AC adaptor can also be used. The battery charger is supplied along with the camera. About 290 pictures can be taken with fully charged battery. USB connection cable and its driver software are also included in the pack. Photo viewing software is also attached along with the software bundle. One can connect the camera to the HDTV with the help of a connection cable. But the cable has to be brought separately.
